MORE DRAFT WEEK THIS AND THAT..........TUESDAY

An update regarding the Broncos flying to the left coast to conduct a private workout of QB Mark Sanchez. Head coach Josh McDaniels wasn't able to make the trip due to severe migraine headaches. GM Brian Xanders & offensive coordinator, Mike McCoy made the trip & will conduct the workout.

*UPDATE 5:30 PM CDT
The interview & workout lasted over 4 hours & culminated with Sanchez throwing between 80 & 100 passes in 100 degree heat. Sanchez claimed it was his best workout to date & the Denver brass are on their way home.

The Baltimore Ravens are very interested in WR Anquan Boldin of the Cardinals, but they are balking at the first & third round draft picks the Cardinals are insisting on to make the deal. Sources in Baltimore have said the Ravens offered RB Willis McGahee(the Cards need a runner), TE Todd Heap(also a need) & a third draft pick. Both Heap & McGahee have been troubled by injuries over the course of their careers, but when healthy, have been very productive. The Ravens only have 6 picks & don't want to trade a third of them.

Today, the Chiefs signed unrestricted free agent, tight end Sean Ryan. The former Boston College Eagle has played for 5 different teams in his 6-years in the league. He has been used mostly as a blocker, a position the Chiefs have needed to fill since Jason Dunn's departure. Ryan is 6' 5" & 265 lbs. They also released do-nothing kick returner, Kevin Robinson. He was a 6th round pick in last year's draft & was known for going down as soon as he saw a tackler coming his way. He had replaced B.J. Sams, B.J. stood for 'Big Joke' apparently. Sams replaced Eddie Drummond, who led the league in running out of bounds so he wouldn't get hit. Herm Edwards ran Dante Hall off & their return game has been worse-than-awful ever since.

The Steelers & Bills have heated up trade talks regarding Buffalo wide receiver & punt returner, Roscoe Parrish. The former Miami Hurricane has returned at least one punt for a touchdowns in each of the last three seasons
& is a decent slot receiver in nickel packages.

Apparently the Philadelphia Eagles want a shot at Cleveland wide receiver Braylon Edwards. I don't see Cleveland making a trade with Edwards until the time comes Saturday afternoon for their 5th overall pick & know they can get Texas Tech WR,  Michael Crabtree. Though they need a WR, I have no idea if Philly really wants Edwards or if they're just attempting to inflate the price the Giants would have to pay for him.  The Eagles draft one spot in front of New York, a division rival, giving them both a numerical edge as well as a tactical one. Either way, if Cleveland selects Crabtree, Edwards will soon be ticketed somewhere east of Ohio. You must keep in mind, much of what you will read & hear this week is fabricated B.S. teams 'leak' out in an attempt to confuse other teams as to their true intentions.

Look for additional updates this evening.
