ROSE BOWL CLEARED FOR KICKOFF

UCLA has decided to go ahead with their scheduled game with San Diego State Saturday night. The fires in Southern California, especially around Pasadena, were threatening to force UCLA officials into rescheduling the game. The Bureau of Air Quality Index has given Rose Bowl officials assurances the air quality will continue to improve everyday as it has done since yesterday morning. UCLA did something really nice as well, they are offering complimentary game tickets to all fire personnel & their familes for both Saturday's game with San Diego State & their September 19th contest with Kansas State. Real class move.
