CASSEL OUT, ORTON & MORENO WILL TRY TO GO
Chiefs quarterback Matt Cassel tested his sprained left MCL this morning & it wasn't strong enough, so he will not play today at Baltimore. Bronco QB Kyle Orton is going to start but his dislocated/lacerated index finger may hamper his accuracy. RB Omar Moreno will try to play today with his balky knee, but like Orton, only game conditions will tell the tale. Vikings WR Bernard Berrian is going to play but it's unknown if his hamstring will allow any of the deep routes the Vikings need him to run in order to stretch the field & give Adrian Peterson more running room.

On kickoff weekend, I'd like to personally thank DirecTV for their total breakdown in customer service. I received a "new"(refurbished) receiver on Thursday & hooked it up to activate it immediately. Imagine my surprise when the techs at DirecTV were unable to activate the receiver. I was told I would be called in 24-72 hours by an advance tech to correct this problem. The 72 hours has now passed & even tho I called them on Friday & late last night, I still don't have a working receiver for my big screen. I'll have to disconnect a working receiver & move it, reducing my number of screens to 4. Thanks DirecTV for giving a sh#t, just another American company that has lost it's way.
