CHIEFS SIGN BOBBY WADE
According to The St. Paul Pioneer Press, wide receiver Bobby Wade has signed with the Chiefs. His agent Jerome Stanley advised the paper in an email this evening. Wade is 28 years old & was originally drafted by the Chicago Bears out of the University of Arizona as a 5th round selection. He later played with Tennessee & played for the Vikings the past 2 seasons. Wade caught 54 passes for 647 yards & 3 touchdowns in 2007. He caught 53 passes for 645 yards & 2 touchdowns last season. He has also returned punts in his career. Wade was released in the last cut down after taking a pay cut that Viking management asked him to take. No word from Kansas City who will be moved to put Wade on the roster.
