COLLEGE PLAYS Part 2
Winner! Winner! Chicken dinner. Bowling Green & Boise State both win & cover easily. I can find only 2 possible plays today & both are huge favorites. So many rivalry games that could end in upset, it's better to stay away, at least it is for me.
Virginia at Clemson(-20 1/2)
Virginia's Al Groh is days away from being fired, the Cavaliers have been one of the most disappointing teams in the country, really struggling at 3-7. A win by 7-3 Clemson will clinch the Atlantic Division of the ACC. The Tigers have scored 38 or more in their last 5 games & they're playing their best football at the right time of the year. Clemson big, something like 41-13.
Kansas at Texas(-27 1/2)
I'm not certain I'll be able to pull the trigger on such a big spread & who knows, it might be even higher this later this morning. The Jayhawks are in complete disarray & coach Mark Mangino looks to be on the way out, maybe as early as Sunday, especially if Texas hangs a big beatdown on the 'Hawks. That's what I expect to see, but 27+ is a bunch of points, so we'll see.
