BOWL PLAYS

I'm glad 2009 is over, it certainly ended with nothing but bad stuff, Chiefs suck, Mizzou tried to play vs. Navy with their collective heads up their ass, the Mike Leach debacle & my continued P.C. issues. Let's not forget my loser yesterday on the OU-Stanford game, the Sooners gave the Cardinal 2 gift touchdowns & I lost my bet by 4 points. I'm thinking 2010 will begin with better results.
LSU(-1) vs. Penn State
This is more of a conference bet, I think the Big-10 is way down the list of power football conferences. The weather is awful in Florida, LSU has won 5 straight bowl games, Penn State hasn't played well in big games the last 3 years, be it out of conference, in-conference or bowls. They have been pretty miserable. So a small play on the Bayou Tigers.
Ohio State vs. Oregon(-4)
Once again, I'm going against the Big-10. They haven't won the Rose Bowl in 10 years. Ohio State has lost their last 4 bowl games. I think Jim Tressell is a scared coach outside the Big-10 & QB Terrelle Pryor has admitted he has a bad knee. Oregon's offense vs. Ohio State's defense is the real matchup here. The Ducks have a 3-headed rushing attack with Jeremiah Masoli, LaMichael James & LeGarrette Blount. I see the Buckeye defense wilting in the second half. One of the suspended players for Ohio State is their punt returner, who was very helpful in giving his team field position. Just not enough offense for Ohio State.
