REAL PROBLEMS ON HERE TODAY
For those of you who haven't watched your local news, there has been a major winter storm that has gone from the panhandle of Texas all the way over to the Carolina's & it is apparently affecting my internet service. We received about 6" of snow which is no big deal, but just south of us the accumulation was much higher, plus they got a sheet of ice underneath it. I think the ice is what's causing my difficulties this morning.
To sign onto Charter Cable's high-speed internet server took three attempts & about 10 minutes. Finally arriving at my home page I attempted to check my email, never got there after three tries & another 10 minutes. So I think maybe it's my laptop, restart it, nothing improves. Go to the PC, exactly the same story. To get to my host's sign-in page for this blog took about 8 minutes, home page 5 more & this page, 3 tries & almost 15 minutes. Our telephone, which is also on the cable isn't working too well either, so for you people who I promised to call today, bear with me, I'm trying. My cell battery lasts just so long. I have no idea if I can get this saved & uploaded as anything with a lot of text takes forever for the page to load, if at all.
As I'm unable to cruise the almost 100 sites I visit daily to read, I'll be back on after the Senior Bowl later, if the internet connection is close to normal.
