CHIEFS & ERIC BERRY AGREE ON 6-YEAR DEAL
The Kansas City Chiefs & their number one draft pick, Tennessee safety Eric Berry, have agreed on a 6-year contract. According to NFL.com, the deal is worth $60 million, with $36.75 of it guaranteed. Now everyone on the Chiefs' roster is under contact & in camp, except safety Jarrad Page, who refuses to sign his tender as a restricted free agent & has requested a trade. Berry 'Tweeted' he would be on the field today for practice. Scott Pioli, unlike his predecessor Carl Peterson, signed all of the Chiefs' draft picks without any of them missing any significant camp time. That alone, is a major improvement in this football team.
