MOCK DRAFT.......THE ONE & ONLY

This isn't like any mock draft you'll see on the internet or on ESPN. Yes, I'm certainly different, probably won't get 5 of these in the right spot but here goes.

1.  Carolina - Marcell Dareus - defensive tackle - Alabama
Ron Rivera is a defensive coach, can't see him sticking his neck out on a quarterback who wants to be an entertainer & an icon. Dareus is the 2nd best player in the draft IMO.

2.  Denver - Von Miller - linebacker - Texas A&M
New coach John Fox wanted Sareus, but he needs defensive players so badly, getting the best pass rushing linebacker to bookend with Elvis Dumervil won't be a problem.

3.  Buffalo - Cam Newton - quarterback - Auburn
Chan Gailey gets his wish, a mobile QB to tutor & bring along slowly.

4.  Cincinnati - A. J. Green - wide receiver - Georgia
best player in this draft IMO. They also need a QB if Palmer retires, but can't pass on Green

5.  Arizona - Julio Jones - wide receiver - Alabama
Need a QB & defensive help, but giving Larry Fitzgerald a partner is big. Cards could be in the Kevin Kolb sweepstakes when the time comes.

6.  Cleveland - Robert Quinn - defensive end - North Carolina
Excellent pass rusher, a real need, but the Browns wanted a WR their biggest need.

7.  San Francisco - Blaine Gabbert - quarterback - Missouri
They were counting on taking a CB, but Gabbert's fall changes Jim Harbaugh's strategy.

8.  Tennessee - Nick Fairley - defensive tackle - Auburn
The guy they figured to end up with all along.

9.  Dallas - Patrick Peterson - cornerback - LSU
Everybody had the Cowboys picking an O-tackle, but they haven't chosen an offensive lineman in the 1st round in the 22-years Jerry Jones has owned the team. Corner is a real need. They'll be thrilled Peterson fell this far.

10. Washington - Mike Pouncey - center/guard - Florida
Pretty high for a center, but a huge reach for a QB, the 3rd WR & an OLB, so Pounceys the pick. The Skins are desperate for interior line help.

11. Houston - Prince Amukamara - cornerback - Nebraska
Texans wanted one of the top-2 cornerbacks, they got one.

12. Minnesota - Jake Locker - quarterback -Washington
The first big reach of this draft, he could take 2-years to be ready to start. Could Donovan McNabb be heading to the Twin Cities?

13. Detroit - Da'Quan Bowers - defensive end - Clemson
Originally considered one of the top-3 prospects in this draft before a knee ailment scared a lot of potential suitors. He's fallen far enough, pair him with Suh & turn 'em loose.

14. St. Louis - Corey Liuget - defensive tackle - Illinois
Rams are desperate for wide receivers but don't want to make a stupid reach, depth is good at the position. Settle for a stout DT who will improve Steve Spagnuolo's defense immediately.

15. Miami - Mark Ingram - running back - Alabama
Everyone expects them to reach for a QB here, they need a running back too, why not get the best one available?

16. Jacksonville - Ryan Kerrigan - defensive end - Purdue
The run on DE's who can get after the passer continue.

17. New England - Cam Jordan - defensive end - Cal
The Patriots use Oakland's 1st round pick to select Richard Seymour's replacement.

18. San Diego - J.J. Watt - defensive end - Wisconsin
Chargers really wanted Jordan, but their need is so strong, they'll take Watt.

19. New York Giants - Anthony Castonzo - offensive tackle - Boston College
Perfect pick for Tom Coughlin, ex-Boston College coach. Now the run on offensive lineman begins.

20. Tampa Bay - Aldon Smith - defensive end - Missouri
Bucs need an edge pass rusher, Smith fills the bill.

21. Kansas City - Gabe Carimi - offensive tackle - Wisconsin
Chiefs need WR, OLB & a NT worse, but all would be reaches at this point. Carimi fills a need & can start right away.

22. Indianapolis - Nate Solder - offensive tackle - Colorado
Colts have started 5 different left tackles since Tarek Glen retired in '07. Solder may not be ready for another year.

23. Philadelphia - Danny Watkins - guard/tackle - Baylor
Andy Reid needs interior lineman badly, Watkins is a very tough & able guard, could slide out to RT in a pinch, 27-year old rookie.

24. New Orleans - Adrian Clayborn - defensive end - Iowa
Saints need a complete DE, good against the run & an effective pass rusher, Clayborn's the best available.

25. Seattle - Marvin Austin - defensive tackle - North Carolina
Seahawks need a QB, but want to trade out of this spot. If they have to stay here, finding a replacement for free agent Brandon Mebane is a real need.

26. Baltimore - Jimmy Smith - cornerback - Colorado
Might be as good as the top-2 corners, but he has a bad track record off-field. Between Ed Reed & Ray Lewis, I think Smith will stay in line.

27. Atlanta - Torrey Smith - wide receiver - Maryland
Here's a surprise, Falcons want a speed rushing DE, but they're gone. They want interior O-linemen, but it's too eraly. They want a speed receiver to stretch the field & give White & Gonzalez room to work. Smith is that speed receiver.

28. Tennessee(from New England) - Andy Dalton - quarterback - TCU
Titans needed to get back to the head of the line of teams wanting a QB, Patriots happy to suck up another high 2nd round choice plus another pick in this trade.

29. Chicago - Stephen Paea - defensive tackle - Oregon State
Thought of as only a nose tackle, Paea is a penetrating disruptor, qualities Chicago misses now that Tommy Harris is gone.

30. New York Jets - Phil Taylor - nose tackle - Baylor
Rex Ryan needs a monster in the middle of his defensive line now that Kris Jenkins is gone.

31. Pittsburgh - Brandon Harris - cornerback - Miami
Steelers wanted Maurkice's bro Mike for the offensive line, he's gone. They liked Danny Watkins, he's gone too, so cornerback is a need & they got the best one available.

32. Green Bay - Brooks Reed - outside linebacker - Arizona
They wanted a bookend for Clay Mathews, they have one now.
