SUPPLEMENTAL DRAFT WILL BE MONDAY, PRYOR ALLOWED IN & THEN GETS SUSPENDED, I'M CONFUSED

The NFL announced they will go ahead with the supplemental draft on Monday. In their statement, they also said Terrelle Pryor will be allowed into the supplemental draft. The last past of their press release confused me. The league stated Pryor would be suspended for the first five games of the regular season, can't practice or play. That was his suspension at Ohio State, first five games of this season. What's going on, is the league carrying over his collegiate suspension? No, the league contends Pryor was suspended for "decisions that undermine the integrity of the eligibility rules for the NFL Draft." By the letter of the law, meaning the newly signed CBA, I don't know that this suspension is legal. I mean how do you suspend someone who isn't in your league or your player's union? But since the NFLPA went along with it, Pryor has about zero chance for a successful appeal.

Pryor will hold a pro day workout in Pittsburgh Saturday afternoon. I don't see a big turnout, so many people are completely turned off by this kid & his selfish antics. But someone will draft him, somewhere after round five begins IMO. His passing skills, or lack thereof, makes Pryor's chances to succeed as an NFL quarterback slim. I am glad the league finally made a decision, four other young men entered this draft with little fanfare & without controversy. Their chances of making an NFL team grow dimmer by the day. They have Pryor & the NFL to thank for the delay.
