QUICK POST DUE TO WEATHER
Due to a severe thunderstorm sitting on top of me, our power is flickering off & on, which is bad juju for computers, so I'm going to make this quick.
New England beat Tampa Bay 31-14 & it wasn't remotely close. Both Tampa scores came in the final 3:47. Brady, Welker, Hernandez & the rest of the starters looked to be in mid-season form. Rookie running back Stevan Ridley had another good night but he did lose a fumble. As good as Tampa looked last week in Kansas City, they were awful tonight. More on tonight's games tomorrow morning.
Pittsburgh smoked the "Dream Team" from Philadelphia 24-14 & like the above game, it wasn't nearly as close as the score might indicate. What was so surprising was the ease at which the Steelers threw against the highly touted Eagle secondary, they were picked apart. Michael Vick threw 3 first half interceptions, Vince Young threw one in the 3rd quarter. Both AFC teams handled their NFC counterparts easily tonight.
