WHAT DID I TELL YOU?

I told you yesterday there was a late entrant into the "Find an Offensive Coordinator Derby" in Kansas City. It was former Patriots assistant, former Cleveland & Miami O. C. Brian Daboll. I feared he would roar by Jim Zorn or my choice for the job, Al Saunders. Shockingly, he did just that, ESPN's Adam's Shefter is reporting Daboll will sign Monday. I guess Scott Pioli is incapable of going outside his New England comfort zone regardless of who is out there. OY.

Wouldn't it be nice for once, just once, if Pioli thought outside the box? This "New England West" is really getting tiresome. You were right when you said the clock is ticking on Scott Pioli. This is just more evidence as to why you and others I know have become so cynical about this franchise.

I am glad I went to the Chiefs last Super Bowl, IV. Who knew they would not be back in over 40 years.
